EIR Markham

August 14 @ 7:00 pm - 8:45 pm

EIR (Entrepreneurs In Residence) is a speaker series where entrepreneurs share their personal journeys, highs, lows and challenges.

This EIR’s theme is “I was stuck, I was afraid, but I still left corporate – here’s how my transition went…”

Come and hear stories and journeys from 4 people who made the choice (or the choice was made for them) to do their own thing, after spending time in a large organization.

Each session features 4 established entrepreneurs, emerging entrepreneurs and / or intrapreneurs in York Region sharing their personal experiences to inspire and educate other entrepreneurs and potential entrepreneurs. Stories are shared in 10-15 minute talks, and they are casual, low-key and no-sales (no “learn about my expertise and buy from me!”) to focus on the stories.

Meet local professionals, aspiring and experienced entrepreneurs in a supportive (and pitch-free) environment. All futurepreneurs, intrapreneurs, mompreneurs, artrepreneurs, youthpreneurs, and friends are invited to join us at this lively and provocative event!
